Dr. Lisa Ramey is a board certified pediatrician and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She received her doctor of osteopathy degree from Midwestern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Illinois. She then completed her pediatric residency at Lutheran General Children’s Hospital in Park Ridge Illinois.
After completing her training in 1999, Dr. Ramey went on to become pediatric teaching faculty for a Family Practice Residency Program at Florida Hospital. During her eight years of teaching she also practiced general pediatrics.
In 2007 Dr. Lisa Ramey went into private practice and opened Intgrative Pediatrics where she continues to practice general pediatrics with an emphasis on nutritional health and preventative medicine. One of Dr. Ramey’s passions is pediatric and adolescent obesity for which she has developed a pediatric and adolescent obesity program.
Dr. Ramey has held multiple positions over the years including Pediatric Section Chair. Assistant Chief of Medical Staff and then Chief of Medical Staff at Florida Hospital East Orlando, medical advisor for Yomagination, and instructor for Pediatric Advanced Life Support.Her downtime is spent with her family enjoying outdoor activities and traveling. Dr. Ramey hopes to help educate and inform parents everywhere how to help prevent disease in our children’s future through prevention today.
